St Enoder Vestry Minutes 1850 (2)



At a Vestry held in the Vestry Room of this parish on Monday the 25th day of March 1850 pursuant to notice duly given. the following resolutions were duly proposed and carried viz:-


That the Church a/cs for the past year be allowed


That the Overseers' a/cs for the past year be allowed


That the Waywardens' a/cs for the last year be allowed


That the Way Men? b requested to see their new tools weighted? & present the wt. of the same to the Clerk to the Way.


That Charles Davis and Robert Vincent be Overseers for the ensuing year


That William Varcoe and Richard Osborne be Surveyors for the ensuing year


That William Langdon and Robert Clemow be Ch. Wardens for the ensuing year


That William Varcoe and Edwd. Brokenshire Collector? for the ensuing year


That the new roads be repaired? without ?-----ing notice ?---- formally given to the Surveyor


That Luke Bice and James Clemow ?-----zza be guardians for the ensuing year


That Wm. Vincent's rate, and Grace Tamblyn's rate be 2∕3 of the rent and that Mr John Manhire's ?------ in it is in the assessment


That a discretionary power be given to the Ch. wardens and Overseers, for the time being to give Richd. Rowe & family such a sum as they think proper to assist him in emigrating to a foreign part – enquiry being first made of Robert Wotten? as to the probable amt. he at present has in hand, - the amt. not exceed ?--four pounds


That Wm Rowe?, ?----er ?------ a/cs for ?---- as pay for Saml. Quick? for two years & that the Asst Overseer be rquested to see what clothes he requires with a view to his being supplied
